Artikel 9.1: Inleiding

Dit is de Privacyverklaring van Light Up Your Talent. In deze verklaring lees je hoe wij omgaan met de persoonsgegevens die we in ons contact met jou verkrijgen. Light Up Your Talent voldoet aan de bepalingen van de AVG (Algemene Verordening Persoonsgegevens).

Artikel 9.2: Verzamelde persoonsgegevens

Jouw privacy is voor ons heel belangrijk. Wij doen ons uiterste best om je gegevens te beschermen. Om diensten aan jou te kunnen leveren en onze dienstverleningen aan jou te waarborgen, hebben we wel een aantal persoonsgegevens van je nodig. Light Up Your Talent verwerkt deze persoonsgegevens omdat je gebruikmaakt van onze diensten, producten en/of omdat je deze zelf aan ons verstrekt.

Deze gegevens gebruiken wij voor de volgende doeleinden:

  • Het verlenen en factureren van onze diensten;

  • Het verzenden van onze nieuwsbrieven;

  • De afhandeling van je bestelling en je informeren over het verloop daarvan;

  • Opslag van klantgegevens in onze databank, om de overeenkomst tussen jou en Light Up Your Talent te kunnen uitvoeren;

  • Het treffen van maatregelen om de dienstverlening te verbeteren;

  • Het verstrekking van informatie of aanbiedingen.

Artikel 9.3: Beveiliging

Bij gegevensoverdracht gebruiken wij het zogenaamde SSL-veiligheidssysteem (Secure Socket Layer) in verbinding met een 128/256-Bit-versleuteling. Deze techniek biedt de hoogste veiligheid en wordt daarom bijvoorbeeld ook door banken gebruikt voor gegevensbeveiliging tijdens online bankieren. Alle door ons aangeboden betalingswijzen zijn door bovengenoemde standaard uitgebreid beveiligd. Dat jouw gegevens versleuteld verzonden worden zie je aan het symbool van een sleutel of gesloten slot in de statusbalk van je browser.

Artikel 9.4: Gegevens van websitebezoek

Wij ontvangen gegevens op basis van jouw bezoek aan onze website. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn cookies. Deze gegevens gebruiken wij om een beter beeld te krijgen van onze klanten en om onze dienstverlening en website te ontwikkelen en aan te passen aan je persoonlijke voorkeuren.

Artikel 9.5: Gegevens inzien en aanpassen

Persoonsgegevens die je aan ons hebt verstrekt kun je op elk gewenst moment inzien en veranderen.

Artikel 9.6: Bewaartermijn gegevens en inzage

Wanneer je je dienstverlening bij ons eindigt, bewaren wij sommige gegevens op basis van de wettelijke bewaartermijn. Wij verwijderen gegevens die niet meer nodig zijn. Na de wettelijke bewaartermijn vernietigen wij alle gegevens.Je hebt recht op inzage van de gegevens die wij van jou hebben nadat je de dienstverlening bij ons hebt beëindigd. Je kunt een verzoek tot inzage, correctie of verwijdering indienen door een e-mail te sturen naar info@lightupyourtalent.com

Artikel 9.7: Delen met anderen

Light Up Your Talent verstrekt je persoonsgegevens alleen aan derden als dit nodig is voor de uitvoering van onze overeenkomst met jou, of om te voldoen aan een wettelijke verplichting.

Deze privacyverklaring kan worden gewijzigd. Eventuele wijzigingen worden bekendgemaakt op deze pagina.

Artikel 9.9: Producten en diensten

Door uw inschrijving voor onze nieuwsbrief, training, coaching, consultancy, sprekers dienst of het kopen van Strengthscope®- credits, dashboards, assessments, rapporten, werkboeken, boeken, e-boeken, kaarten, posters, werkvormen (oefeningen) en materialen op basis van sterke punten, gaat u ermee akkoord dat LUYT de persoonlijke gegevens die u hebt verstrekt opslaat en verwerkt.

Article 9.1: Introduction

This is the Privacy Statement of Light Up Your Talent. In this statement you will read how we deal with the personal data that we receive from you. Light Up Your Talent complies with the provisions of the AVG (General Regulation on Personal Data).

Article 9.2: Collected personal data

Your privacy is very important to us. We do our best to protect your data. In order to be able to provide services to you and to guarantee our services to you, we do need a number of personal data from you. Light Up Your Talent processes this personal data because you use our services, products and / or because you provided them yourself.

We use this information for the following purposes:

  • Providing and invoicing our services;

  • Sending our newsletters;

  • The processing of your order and informing you about its progress;

  • Storage of customer data in our database, in order to be able to execute the agreement between you and Light Up Your Talent;

  • Taking measures to improve the service;

  • Providing information or offers.

Article 9.3: Security

For data transfer we use the SSL security system (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with 128/256-bit encryption. This technique offers the highest security and is therefore also used by banks for data security during online banking. All payment methods offered by us are secured by the aforementioned standard. You can see that your data is encrypted by the symbol of a key or closed lock in the status bar of your browser.

Article 9.4: Data from website visit

We receive data based on your visit to our website. Examples of this are cookies. We use this information to get a better picture of our customers and to develop our service and website and to adapt it to your personal preferences.

Article 9.5: View and adjust data

Personal data that you have provided to us can be viewed and changed at any time.

Article 9.6: Storage period for data and inspection

When you end your service with us, we keep some data based on the legal storage period. We delete data that is no longer needed. After the legal storage period we will destroy all data. You are entitled to inspect the data we have about you after you have terminated the service with us. You can submit a request for inspection, correction or deletion by sending an e-mail to info@lightupyourtalent.com

Light Up Your Talent will only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation.

By signing up for our newsletter, training, coaching, consultancy, speaking services or the purchase of Strengthscope®- credits, dashboards, assessments, reports, workbooks, books, e-books, cards, posters, exercises and strengths-based materials, you consent to LUYT, storing and processing the personal data you have provided.

The Strengthscope® assessment system

Please note that whilst it states Strengths Partnership (The UK company that built and looks after the Strengthscope® system, applicable under the UK law), the answers and guidelines do apply and should be followed by all International Partners and Practitioners of Strengthscope®. DATA COLLECTION

What personal data are you capturing?
You have to enter your Title, First name, Last name, Email and Password.
You can opt out of the following: Occupational category, Current employment status, Industry, Employing Organisation, Ethnic Origin, Highest Education level, Country of birth, Rather not specify

Briefly describe the background and purpose of your service
Employee insight/profiling tool to assess employees’ energy and strengths. Profiling tool used in a variety of ways: team days, individual development raising self-awareness and also can be used as a 360-feedback tool.

For what purpose is the personal data being used?
• To provide you with goods and services that you request from us
• Marketing purposes
• Research purposes

Who will have access to the stored data?
Only key staff who work within Customer Services at Strengths Partnership (a total of 3 people) have access to this data so they can provide support to people completing the profile/having problems completing. Also, Avamae – our database development partners also have access. AvaMae are subject to frequent security reviews and operate to the highest levels of IM security in their day to day operations and coding work.

How long is the information stored for?
The personal data is stored on the database indefinitely to assist with validation and to ensure there is no direct or indirect adverse impact on particular groups. There is database segregation – clients can only access the records relating to their own projects and cannot access the projects or data from other clients. The reports are not stored on the system, they are generated on request of download and no copy of the report remains on the system after generation.

How are the general data for statistical purposes like gender kept / stored by the Strengths Partnership? Is it anonymous or including the name?
Demographic data (gender, age, ethnicity, etc.) is stored in a separate table from respondent information, respondents are linked to their demographic data through their respondent id. Unless the respondent has been deleted from the system their demographic data is stored indefinitely.

Would you be able to destroy the raw data you gathered from our employees upon request?
Yes, we are able to remove this information upon request. Clients are also able to perform this task in the client login area of the website, removing respondents/nominees will hard delete any information held on that respondents/nominees from the database.

How and where will the data be captured?
The data is stored on a server in the UK and is hosted by Rackspace. Our device is a dedicated server with no shared hosting.

What responsibilities does the Data Protection Officer have?
• Reviewing all data protection procedures and related policies, in line with an agreed schedule.

• Dealing with requests from individuals to see the data Strengths Partnership holds about them (also called ‘subject access requests’).
• Checking and approving any contracts or agreements with third parties that may handle the company’s sensitive data.
